Founder, Mary J. Cox is a cosmotologist that specialize in healthy hair care and product that promote hair growth. I've always been intrigued with hair. Even as a young girl, I wondered about the different styles and colors and how to achieve the most glamourous look with the least amount of time.Pursuing my dream I graduated from Fran Brown Beauty College in 1999. Working and honing my skills for the last 5 years has allowed me to develop expertise in styling and cutting. Skills I am genuinely proud of.

Custom HairWare was born out of desperation,(Necessity is the mother of Invention) I was pregnant with my third child and needed to keep my appearance up without spending a lot of time on my hair. I needed something that would be Low Maintenance, yet classy and a tad bit sexy.                                                                                

After spending some time at the Design Table, Custom HairWare System was born. I began wearing this unique design and changing my hairstyles on a regular basic. Soon people began to talk. Finally one of my co-worker asked how I was able to go from one style to another and one color to another without damaging my hair. I smiled sweetly and explain it was a new product called Custom HairWare. She was shocked; the product was so natural none of them could believe it wasn't my natural hair!
